We recently spent an afternoon with Greg Christian and his parents, Garland and Maudie touring Tom’s Creek Family Farm in Wayne County, WV where the sap was flowing to the sugar house..  Overall, there are more than 100 maple trees tapped.  It’s truly a family effort!

Since Greg is a engineer by day, he really enjoys the technical aspect of the operation and builds many of the components needed for turning sap to syrup.  For Garland, it’s a father and son bond. Check out the video and be sure to visit Saturday, February 23 for West Virginia Syrup Days.  The event is on Tom’s Creek Road, Wayne, WV.  Be sure to get some of their 100% pure maple syrup.
